Opposition & Resistance

Lately, it seems like I’ve had a lot of opposition & resistance. To be clear, some of this is self inflicted but it seems to me that many of the difficulties in which I find myself are kind of random & just the nature of remaining faithful to God. It’s easy to stay faithful when things are smoothy, groovy. But it can get tricky when we seem to be continually bombarded with opposition & resistance.
Here are some things that are helping me now:
*”now” is a key word – rehearsing the past & worrying about the future can deflate & contaminate the present
*keep going & trust that God will give you wisdom, rest & strength for each moment
*learn – take full advantage of this season to increase your wisdom & trust in God
*get strong – opposition can build strength if we don’t quit
* smile & be confident that God working out everything way beyond well as we stay in love with God & aligned with God’s purpose 🙂

  1. Ahhhh those moments considering the vicissitudes of life. God brought into my life one of the coolest woofers (Boston Frenchy) who helps me to understand different spiritual perspectives of life. Ms. Sarah you’re not alone in the different battles, but that doesn’t make it any easier – other than recognizing how chosen you are – you know tests – testimony Smile.
Anyway Rocko my little woofer while I’m reading your challenges comes over and sticks his face in my lap. I look over – he’s got water – he’s got food but I know he wants his morning walk not realizing that I have to get a couple things out of the way first before we can go enjoy the sunshiine – making any sense? I believe God’s got some things to do before….
Anyway happy Matthew 6:lalalla you know the routine. More Smiles

  3. Great wisdom Sarah. These kinds of times for me remind me of climbing stairs between levels of a building. Enduring the hardship of the climb will lead me by Gods Grace to that next level 🙂 we love you.
