nightcare!

So what’s nightcare?  Nightcare is similar to the American idea of daycare, but with a bit of a twist.  Nightcare is the next project that Saving Moses is working on & this weekend I get to be a part of making a dream into a reality.  Here’s the scoop:  Saving Moses is all about helping little people 5 and  under.  Last year, I became aware that the infants of prostitutes and sex trafficking victims are often in the same room (even under the bed) where their mom is working, or they get left in the hovel where they live with no care or supervision.  In some situations, their mom even drugs them & puts them under the bed or chains them to the bed on which she’s working.  So it’s been in my heart for more than a year to begin nightcare programs throughout Asia to provide a nurturing and safe place for these infants and toddlers.   And this weekend, I’m excited to explore and establish our first nightcare ever, starting in Cambodia!!

Please be sure to keep your eyes peeled on this blog as well as twitter & facebook for the latest updates & pictures.  If you’re inclined, I’d love some prayer on the following items:

  • wisdom for me to make prudent decisions,
  • favor with strategic leaders and organizations,
  • abundant finances for these tiny treasures 🙂

Muchos gracias!!

  1. Sarah you are just too much! That is an outstanding idea. You know, some people contribute to a cause and figure the money and PR photos will do the job, but the REAL job is thinking of the ENTIRE cause as you do. Prayers abound are coming your way for those little treasures and their well being. You be well and be careful. Much love in God and many prayers.

    • Sarah, iam a Ugandan female and i have watched your shows since i was a School girl. I never get tired of listening to you and your mum. i Thank God so much for the wisdom he has bestowed upon you. iam now a mother of three beautiful girls and they are so wise and compassionate to people. recently, my eldest daughter put so much pressure on me to start a children’s prison ministry. i would very much want to see her love others with the love of Christ but it is so hard for me considering that iam a single mother. last Xmas, we gave out almost all the clothes and Shoes and property we had but she is still not satisfied. i have not even raised their tuition money yet but she is ready to forgo school to help. She is currently the president of Young Journalism Association at her school and recently she got visitors from Wales but honestly speaking, the visitors sat on the floor, we basically borrowed everything we used to serve tea. from cooking saucepans to cups to cuttileries. I need advice from you and above all i need prayers that i get a financial breakthrough so i can start the Children’s Ministry.

  2. Wow…the thought of children being drugged or tied to a bed AND being alone is unfathomable…

I will pray for all your points of need Sarah…I posted to your facebook earlier today after watching “saving moses” and have thought about it ALL day. Now there is “nightcare” to pray for…God is using you in an enormous way. I wish I could be there to hold and rock a little one…

Please know how much people love and care about you and what you are doing…
