In the Middle of Darkness

This morning I read about how Jacob dreamed about a ladder from heaven to earth & how God spoke with him about keeping Jacob safe, providing for him & returning him to his homeland – all at night time.
It seems to me that we frequently want to avoid what is dark, obscure, unclear & uncertain. We find comfort in the known, boundaries & what we can see, feel & understand. At the same time, we must admit that knowing God is most certainly the adventure of a lifetime, the most wild ride with the Infinite, overflowing with genuine love.
Jacob said “yes” to God, he accepted the unknown in the middle of darkness & began his awesome adventure with God – let’s GO!!! Say “yes” to God, even when you don’t understand, in the middle of darkness, obscurity & uncertainty. Genuine Love is waiting for your “yes” 🙂
