Columbia 300 Messenger PowerCOR Pearl Black/Gold
Columbia 300 has a tradition of honoring its roots by updating classic technologies for modern performance, resulting in some outstanding bowling balls. Now, it’s time to revisit an old favorite: the black and gold Messenger. The introduction of Messenger PowerCOR two years ago delivered impressive results, and Columbia 300 is taking it further by adding the HK22 cover base for enhanced performance where bowlers need it most. The Messenger PowerCOR Pearl retains the iconic colors that made it famous in the early 2000s. Featuring the updated Messenger PowerCOR core and HK22 – Reflex Pearl cover, this ball is essential for anyone seeking top-notch performance on light to medium oil conditions.

Question:
How would this compare to a Columbia Explosion? I'm a 2 hand rev dom player.
Have an answer to this question?
Answer:
Hi JB! The Messenger PowerCOR Pearl coverstock is best on light to medium oil lane conditions and would react later on the lanes, compared to the Explosion Hybrid coverstock is designed to react in a strong arc hook on medium to heavy oil lanes.

Question:
Would this bowling ball work well with the storm summit? Thanks for the help bowling.com staff
Have an answer to this question?
Answer:
This could be a good compliment to the Summit and help for when the lanes get lighter in the later games. If you start with the Summit when the lanes have more oil then you could transition to the Messenger Powercor Pearl when you feel the Summit is reading too earlier and starting to roll flat and this ball will give you more length to and decent backend as you get into the lighter conditions.
